Reflection of Dr Johann McFarlane with whom I have co-supervised students

As I am new to the supervising process, I had to empower myself by doing a great deal of reading about the supervising process as well as by attending a supervising workshop by the renowned Prof Chris Kapp and Dr Estelle Troskie de Bruyn. I have based my supervision process not only on the above, but also by including the practices from my supervisors at the NMMU, namely Prof Paul Webb and Dr McFarlane. Dr McFarlane and myself have both worked closely together with my first two Masters students. His report about my capabilities and supervising is presented below:
